Kirk's Lost Thoughts - Ep 2.3

My Email from 10/6:

What a great episode! It’s more than enough to get my mind off the Sox bumbling and stumbling thru the ALDS.

Check out this website: http://www.thehansofoundation.org/
Go to the Projects link and put your mouse right below The Hanso Accelerated Remote Viewing Training Facility link. You’ll see some hidden text

The guy who runs the show is Alvar Hanso. Knowing the writers love of anagrams, Hanso - Noahs? Could be. He looked an awful lot like Locke’s dad. (http://www.thehansofoundation.org/images/alvarhanso.jpg)

A couple random things I noticed. Locke’s girlfriend’s (Peggy Bundy!) name is Helen. In the first Locke episode, his phone-gal’s name was Helen too. That’s not a coincidence. What happened to her later on? Did Locke do something? Is that why he couldn’t walk?

Speaking of coincidences… Did you pick up that Locke’s dad talking to Locke about being conned? The use of the work conned…Could be related to Sawyer’s Mom & Dad being conned way back when. Or it’s just a red herring to get us to babble on and on.

Also, there are a lot of Hindu references; Namaste is all over the Hanso website. Here is some info on what it means. http://www.flex.com/~jai/articles/namaste1.html. Apparently the Swan is very important in Hindi as well.

Hmmm… The researchers (picture here) that were working on the DHARMA project… One had a large beard, like The Other on the boat who kidnapped Walt. The other researcher was a young blonde woman, similar to The Other that threw the IED at the raft.

Tetto Said:
Maybe this is too logical, but-
The button. Nobody knows what would happen if it wasn't pressed. There's been enough weirdness going around while people were pressing it... could it get much weirder by not pressing it? I'd be real tempted to let it count down and take my chances. And... the tape mentioned that there was an "incident" and that was the reason for the code. Well, why not cause an incident? Get someone at Hanso to notice? Or has Hanso gone bust since the movie? The website doesn't make it seem that way.

I replied:
I like to live dangerously, I’d probably let the counter cycle to zero as well. It me it seems like some weird psych test that’s gone horribly awry.

A few things I noticed, the projects the orientation film was talking about.
Animal Genetics – Showed Polar Bears. Coincidence?
Magnetism – The reason the plane crashed?
ESP – The reason Walt is on the
Island?

As I recall there were six. And Bunker 3 (the one we know) is related to Magnetism.

I’m thinking “The Others” have something to do with the Hanso Foundation, and not the people from the back of the plane. It’ll be interesting to see how their “society’ formed in the last 2 months on the Island.

Way too much info! I can’t see them tying all this up anytime soon. Hopefully it doesn’t get like the X-Files and have too many plot lines that make no sense at all…
